Brazil issued a new infrastructure investment plan this year. US$ 70 bi will be invested until 2014.
The Brazilian Government conceded airport operations to the private sector in three main locations (São Paulo, Brasília and Campinas) this same year. More concessions are scheduled to auctioned no later than in the first quarter of 2013.
Besides roads, ports, airports and railways, different types of infrastructures will be need. For instance, a new law passed in 2012 mandated that national highways and roads must have parking/resting areas and ‘support’ stations each 100 km.
- Invest in infrastructure in Brazil;
- Partner with Brazilian groups to explore concessions in transportation systems;
- Partner with Brazilian groups to create stations in roads in the inner part of the Country;
